She has owned and operated private practices throughout most of her career (starting in 2005) and has successfully grown her businesses by always being on the cutting edge of the latest techniques in the field of psychology. She has an extensive background, experience, and training in many areas of psychological assessment and practice including industrial\/organizational, forensic, neuropsychology, geriatric psychology, educational psychology, and clinical diagnosis and treatment. Dr. McPherson is trained to administer a very wide range of psychological assessments and integrate the data from such assessments to produce a comprehensive report with recommendations.<\/p>\n

\nHer values are firmly service-oriented to her clients and her passion for mental health comes from not only her career path but also her personal experience with mental illness and developmental disabilities in her family. Dr. McPherson approaches each client as a unique individual and carefully selects the best assessments and techniques for that person to achieve the answers to the referral question that has led you to seek a psychological evaluation.<\/p>\n

Value of client privacy
\nOnly HIPPA and FERPA-compliant videoconferencing is used with a private Wi-Fi connection only. Dr. McPherson utilizes a virtual waiting room for clients with a unique password for each client required to enter a meeting, inactivity time-out functions, and security software on all devices. All clients must sign a consent form before beginning services and all aspects of the evaluation and fees are clearly explained in this form.<\/p>\n

My experience with Virtual Psychological Evaluations with Dr. Mandy Saar was excellent.
